Motor Image Enterprises (MIE), the exclusive distributor of Subaru vehicles in Singapore, has launched the ultra-luxurious, state of the art, 2021 Subaru Outback.
The flagship Crossover model combines the driveability of a station wagon, with the versatility of an SUV. At the heart of the posh giant is an all-new 2.5-litre direct injection boxer engine, built on the Subaru Global Platform. The new Outback features the latest version of Subaru’s award-winning preventive safety system, EyeSight 4.0. Drivers can drive with more confidence as the Pre-Collision Braking system covers more traffic scenarios than ever before. The improved stereo camera helps maintain lane discipline while monitoring neighbouring lanes so the car can anticipate adverse road conditions to prevent a collision. The new Subaru Outback comes with a wide array of other safety features. These include steering responsive headlights, adaptive driving beam, Subaru Rear Vehicle Detection, Reverse Automatic Braking, Post-collision Brake control and 8 airbags.
Driver Assist Technology now includes Autonomous Emergency Steering, Adaptive Cruise Control system and Lane Departure Warning along with all the other preventive and passive safety features to give you the safest driving experience.
Its interior has been embellished with luxury features. The 10-way adjustable driver’s seat is wrapped with Nappa leather to provide plush comfort to the driver. A further expanded interior offers spacious rear seats, while the front passenger seat is widened to give better comfort.
Right in the middle of the dashboard is a smart 11.6-inch infotainment touchscreen. Compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the high-definition LCD screen makes enjoying in-car entertainment easier than ever.
Drivers will thoroughly enjoy the Harman/Kardon premium audio system with 11 speakers throughout the vehicle. Additionally, a subwoofer and an 8-channel amplifier will surely satisfy even the most seasoned audiophiles.
Embedded into the Outback is a full inner frame structure and Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel-Drive, part of Subaru’s DNA to give cars excellent handling and stability with its four-wheel independent suspension. Ample ground clearance means you won’t have to worry about potholes or bumpy roads. Tailored from the ruggedness of previous generations, the new Outbacks comes built with sturdy bumper guards, heavy-duty crossbar roof rails and robust body panels.
Compared to its predecessor, the new Outback offers 522-litres of cargo space. 10 more litres than the previous generation. Not only that, a hands-free power rear gate helps you get heavy items into the boot with ease.
