The Scorpio X1 is believed to have a top speed of 105 km/h. A single charge should get you around 200 kilometres of range. That means you would be able to zip through the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) five times.

In addition, Scorpio developed an app that’ll allow the rider to connect their mobile phone to the X1. Some cool features include keyless entry, real-time vehicle status as well as a bike locator. Pretty cool, eh?

Scorpio said their first electric bike is equivalent to a 150cc but feels like a higher cc due to the instant torque of electric bikes. It is priced at USD$9,800. Meaning, if you’re thinking of going electric on two wheels, that’s about S$13,000 excluding COE and taxes. The X1 is available for pre-order today with a deposit of USD$1,000.
